“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.” (NLT)
These are the words of Jesus, spoken in Matthew 24:37-39. His warning here is poignant and chilling. As it was during the days of Noah, so it will, too, when Jesus returns. The question, then, is what was it like in the leadup to the global flood that wiped out the entire human race, aside from Noah and his family?
The Bible gives us many clues. We know the Earth was steeped in unimaginable sin during the days of Noah. But we also know from other passages in the New Testament that the leadup to Earth’s final moments will be steady and painful. “All these are but the beginning of birth pains,” Jesus says earlier in Matthew 24:
“Jesus answered: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.’
Some postulate that, because of the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence, mankind now has a mechanism in place that can conceivably drive the world closer to a one world government and the rise of an Antichrist, as foretold in the Book of Revelation. While nobody knows the future except for God, we can be sure of one thing: there is definitely “wars and rumors of wars” in the world right now, and disaster after disaster seems to constantly be on the menu.
These are the birth pains, according to Jesus. This is but the leadup into a much more tumultuous and much more intense epilogue in Earth’s history. Will AI play a part in this journey? Will demonic forces or fallen angels contribute to the chaos? What kind of timeline could we be looking at? All of these questions and more are answered by this week’s guests, Frederick Price Jr. and Alan DiDio. From AI to spiritual warfare, we leave no stone unturned this week in our deep and direct discussion about the LAST DAYS.
15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.
22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

Alan DiDio
Alan DiDio says mankind was given a 6,000-year lease on life that is on the verge of expiring. As the End Times become more intense and modern technology pushes us toward a global society, artificial intelligence could usher in a new era of knowledge and subsequent deception. Alan is the host of Revival Nation, formerly called Encounter Today, and the author of Summoning the Demon: AI, Aliens, and the Antichrist. He explains the dangers and advantages of AI, and how Christians can utilize it rather than be deceived by it. He encourages Christians to practice a “digital Sabbath,” and to prioritize in-person relationships, discipleship, and worship in an increasingly non-tangible society. “AI,” he warns, “is removing barriers to the Antichrist agenda.” We are definitely in the last days.
Frederick Price Jr.
“Demons are very real, but thanks to the power and authority of Jesus Christ, demons pose no threat – because the Holy Spirit lives in us,” says Frederick Price Jr. Frederick is the pastor of Crenshaw Christian Center. His lifelong fascination with science fiction and the supernatural has driven him to study angels and demons for decades and led him to write the eye-opening book Behind the Seen: Angels, Demons, and the Battle for the Human Soul. Satan and his demons have a heavy influence on pop culture – especially the music industry. Why? Because Satan attempts to exert his control over everything on earth. Frederick explains the difference between God’s angels, fallen angels, and demons. Why must demons be cast out of people? How can we protect ourselves from their influence? Can demons possess a born-again Christian? Frederick breaks all this down.
