Tony’s Roar Is Sending A New Message
“They’re Great!” – What is?
Tony the Tiger along with some of his pals over at Kellogg’s are joining together to give us a new breakfast cereal choice. As usual, “They’re great!” is ringing from Tony’s mouth, but why is this news? That’s because Tony can find the new “Together With Pride” cereal on his grocery store shelves, and so can you!
At $4.00 per purple box, the “All Together” cereal was released for Gay Pride Month celebrated during the month of June. Kellogg’s will donate $3.00 of each purchase to GLADD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). The partnership between GLADD and Kellogg’s is in honor of Spirit Day, celebrated on October 17th.

We believe that all people deserve an environment where they can be their best selves. That’s why Kellogg’s has joined forces as an official partner of GLAAD to celebrate Spirit Day, the largest most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world where millions wear purple to stand up against bullying and to support a more accepting world for LGBTQ youth.
Kellogg is donating $50,000 to GLAAD to support their anti-bullying and LGBTQ advocacy work.
As far as I am concerned, the WOKE Kellogg’s company has every right to partner and promote any cause or organization they choose. However, one thing is making me choke on those frosty cornflakes.
Choose Your Pronouns.
Why is a breakfast cereal asking my kid, or any kid for that matter, to CHOOSE their pronouns? Tony says they’re great, I’m not so sure. On the side of each box of cereal, kids will find options. Your child can choose between identity pronouns like he and him, she or her, and they or them. Just for fun, some blank spaces are included too! I guess that is in case someone is having a “fill in the blank” kind of day.
This non-binary cereal box is just plain flakey. I don’t care how long it takes you to wake up in the morning. There is no reason for breakfast cereal to glorify sexuality and gender identity. There is a difference between being AWAKE and being WOKE. As parents, we need to stay AWAKE to the recent WOKENESS of society. Society has put a radical spin on “do unto others,” and businesses and companies are following in their footsteps.
It’s Time To Draw A Line.
I suggest you draw that line at the breakfast table. “They’re great,” should no longer come from your child’s mouth, and this cereal has no place there, either! The next time you have a bowl of cereal with your kids have a talk. Remind them GOD created them. In HIS image. Tell them they are wonderfully, beautifully made…as they were born! Explain to them that REAL pride comes in knowing, loving, and serving our Creator!
