21 Mar, 2017 Your Munchkins Will Love This Award-Winning Book Series!
At a loss trying to find a quality book series for your kids that give them positive solutions on bullying, fear, bragging etc? Look no further!
Finding good quality, moral-rich books that are the perfect length for parents and kids, is a rare find. And if you want great illustrations to go with? Keep dreaming. Well moms, I’m happy to announce, that I’ve found the perfect book series, “Adventures of the Sea Kids,” by GML Publishing. It has surpassed all my expectations. While touring numerous booths at the International Christian Media Conference in Orlando last month, several books on display caught my eye on one of the tables. After flipping through the first book, I was hooked. I knew my kids would love these books and I knew I couldn’t leave the conference without them. Unbeknownst to me, I actually talked to the author of the series, Lee Ann Mancini and after our short discussion regarding a lack of good books for our kids to choose from today, she said she would send me the entire series for free. What a treat!
Since they arrived last week, my kids have not put them down. I even found them in their beds! The moral of each story deals with topics that are exactly what I want my kids to be learning at the moment. The first book we read, talked about the issue of bragging and forgiveness. My kids talked over the major points of the story together. Another one dealt with embracing the uniqueness of others and overcoming fear is the book we are tackling next. The books are all very well written and several of them include an eye spy game at the end of the story. Check out this video which features some pages from the book series and gives an overview of GLM Publishing’s mission!
Lee Ann Mancini, the author and creator of the Adventures of the Sea Kids Series, holds a Bachelor of Religious Studies from Regent University, a Master of biblical and Theological Studies from Knox Theological Seminary and a Master of Christian Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Illustrator Dan Sharp has specialized in the creation of licensed artwork designs for Disney, Warner Brothers, American Greetings and others and has created the cutest characters in this book series. I can see how these books have won awards such as the Illumination Book Awards, Readers’ Favorite Illustration Award, Benjamin Franklin Award, President’s Book Awards Winner, International Book Awards Finalist and Mom’s Choice Awards. Moms, these books will become your family’s new favorite series!
Perhaps the neatest thing regarding these children’s books besides ingraining values and morals in our future generation, is the proceeds of the book sales are donated to Christian charities ministering to the needs of children. It’s great to know that through the purchase of these books, more kids’ needs will be provided for as well. To get your hands on the series for your little munchkins, CLICK HERE!
THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE: Go through your kids’ books and throw out any that include witchcraft, sorcery, murder, violence, etc. You’ll be surprised what you find in your collection. Donate books that are too childish for your kids’ ages. Replace old books with this book series and any others that instill values you want your kids to learn and apply. Have fun doing this project together with your kids!

We have the Buzzle Billy (by author Michael P Waite) series that are character building books. Our girls loved them and they still do. Our daughter asked us to give a copy of them to our grandson which we were pleased to do.
