Make an assessment before you make a plan!

I wasn’t kidding in the beginning when I said, “Results May Vary!” There are no REAL cookie-cutter moms on the planet! Truly, we are all packaged differently! As women, we compare ourselves with other women far too often. God made each of us for a special purpose, so to compare ourselves to someone else isn’t fair! Who is it that you are wanting to honor? What is their personality? Are they a quiet and easy, go with the flow type of woman? Or, are they adventurous and want to do things that will give them a thrill? And then, of course, there are the ones who we have no idea what they like because they like EVERYTHING! When we start with the uniqueness of the individual it’s fun and easy to plan the rest!

Celebrate Those Unique Mellow Misses

Previously, we stated that there are those women in our lives who really just enjoy a rather uneventful event! Maybe this is you? These types of people are truly okay with the simplicity of things which makes it relatively easy to find ways to honor them.

However, a lot of the time, this is where I tend to get lazy! I don’t like to be lazy when it comes to gift-giving, but let’s be honest, it can be a lot of pressure! When I feel overwhelmed, sometimes I will put things off to the very end which never helps! And it’s even worse when I know the person I am planning for doesn’t prefer big productions or surprises. My style of celebration is always extravagant and exciting! A mild time is not generally my cup of tea.

A Cup of Tea

But, I am not celebrating myself, I’m celebrating someone else! So, a great idea for this type of person is actually, a cup of tea! And don’t just go out and buy it, brew it together! Something to consider is this tea drop sampler you can buy from uncommon goods!

What if they don’t like tea? You could go get whole bean coffee from a local roastery and make lattes instead! Or another very unique thing to try with summer around the corner, make homemade ice cream! One of the newest things I have come across is Mochi ice cream. Have you heard of that? Well, make some and find out for yourself! Again, uncommon goods has a kit you can purchase!

Also, plan on going to your local craft store beforehand so you have what you need to add the unique element to the day! While there, you’ll be getting supplies to make bracelets! We love these bracelets from beadsinc and the tutorial on their blog looks fun and easy!  Be sure to grab beads with letters to include special nicknames or words!

 Master Plan For The Mischievous Misses

I would probably place myself in this category. Trying to find something unique AND fun AND easy for misses like me can really seem like a daunting task. Especially if you tend to be one of the mellow misses we talk about previously. Stop the panic, let this mischievous miss help you out!

We are surprisingly, probably one of the easiest types of women to plan for! Just pick out an event we have never been to or take us to participate in an activity we have never tried! Any sort of surprise element is typically a good idea! The thrill of not knowing get’s us excited! New restaurant? Let’s go!

For the EXTRA thrill-seeking ladies,

TATTOOS! Yep, I went there! Obviously, some women wouldn’t be down for permanently altering their body, so you can always do henna tattoos! Okay, okay, not everyone wants body art. So then, what can you do for the ladies who you just can’t seem to keep up with?

Try finding dance classes near you! For those of you who are still social distancing, there are plenty of online options as well! Find an actual class, or go freestyle with a zoom boogie blast! The possibilities when you pick a zoom are ENDLESS. Invite other special women in your life, and make sure to record the experience! Doing this allows you to get it put onto a DVD so you can mail it out with a special note! Two gifts in one! A fun time celebrating, followed by a special surprise in the mail! It’s foolproof and easy!

 Unique Memories For Multifaceted Misses

Last but not least are the women who you really can’t seem to figure out! Maybe this lady is someone special to you but your only interaction with her is from chatting at a Bible study. What do you get her? We all have those women in our lives who we interact with on a weekly or monthly basis who need a pick-me-up. Remember, our goal

here is to honor the women we love and celebrate the special ways God made them set apart from ourselves and other women! If you don’t know them on a closer level, it can be really difficult to choose something that would be unique for her as an individual.

Okay, who doesn’t like a big warm blanket? They are SO cozy! One of my favorite things to do is to get comfortable on the couch after a long day under a big blanket! What could make this more unique? Well, I personally love these inspirational blankets on Amazon. Some of them have scripture, while others may have inspiring quotes or words! Take it a step further and have one custom-made!

And nothing is better for the busy moms in your life than a way to be refreshed! Once again, uncommon goods to the rescue!
