Ken Ham, President and CEO of the Creation Museum and Answers in Genesis, was a school teacher for years. His parents raised him grounded in the word of God. When he saw that evolution was corrupting our culture and teaching lies to children, his ideas for Answers in Genesis was birthed. Soon after, came the plans for the Creation Museum, where every day thousands of people take a journey through the Seven C’s of the Bible by walking through this museum. The Bible comes to life when viewing these displays.

The Seven C’s, which are the foundational events of biblical history, are the following:

  • Creation
  • Corruption (the Fall of man)
  • Catastrophe (Noah’s Flood)
  • Confusion (the Tower of Babel)
  • Christ
  • Cross
  • Consummation (the new heavens and new Earth)

This museum ties all of scripture together in a simple, cohesive way, making it easy for even children to remember God’s word and be excited about learning more about His truth!

Episode 17: Exploring the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter and why these are the top two destinations for parents to take their kids!

THIS WEEK’S CHALLENGE: With evolution constantly being ingrained in our children’s minds through today’s culture (which contradicts God’s word) it’s pertinent that we teach our children about creationism. God created the heavens and the earth and everything in it in 6 literal days. Take your kids to The Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter so they will be able to share God’s truth with their friends and classmates and develop a solid Biblical foundation from the start.

I loved seeing how Noah & his family may have fed & cared for all those animals! Also, the display about the “Lost Squadron” was very compelling.
